Hollywood Pixels was launched around 1996 by entrepreneurs Franz Krachtus and Jason Brook as a production company for their animated series “Vinnie Vavoom” and “Joe Taxi” that was distributed by Atom Films. Together they launched numerous groundbreaking companies such as , the nation’s first cross-carrier wireless text messaging and broadcast text messaging platform; , a revolutionary WiFi antenna that vastly expanded wireless reach and sold at Circuit City, CompUSA, Radio Shack, Fry Electronics and others. Over the years, they have provided a wide variety of creative services to companies world-wide and and helped launch numerous products. Jason Brook continues to develop new products and assists entrepreneurs in starting their own.
Hollywood Pixels is run by Franz Krachtus, who has extensive experience in marketing & graphic design. He is the former art director of the Santa Barbara Independent, animator & media specialist for IBM, creative director for Logetics, Inc., and award-winning photographer. in 1990 he was named one of the Top 40 Entrepreneur Under 40 by Entrepreneur Magazine.
